Andrew is a teacher and part-time researcher at EDSK.
He has been teaching for over five years in London, including at a high-performing Sixth Form College, an ‘outstanding’ 11-18 secondary school and now at a leading private school.
Before entering teaching, he worked in a Special Educational Needs department at an inner-city school in Manchester and was also involved in the National Citizen Service scheme that aimed to bridge social divides through providing new opportunities to young people.
His wide-ranging work in the education sector is complemented by his research work in both academic settings and with an international NGO in Mumbai where he wrote detailed reports on urban poverty and social welfare. In addition, his previous roles include working in qualitative research, sales and marketing projects. He is particularly interested in policy areas such as the school curriculum and Higher Education.
