Andrew is a researcher at EDSK and a part-time teacher.
He has been teaching for over four years in London – first at a high-performing Sixth Form College and now at an 11-18 secondary school.
Before entering teaching, he worked in a Special Educational Needs department at an inner-city school in Manchester and was also involved in the National Citizen Service scheme that aimed to bridge social divides through providing new opportunities to young people.
His wide-ranging work in the education sector is complemented by his research work in both academic settings and with an international NGO in Mumbai where he wrote detailed reports on urban poverty and social welfare. In addition, his previous roles include working in qualitative research, sales and marketing projects. He is particularly interested in policy areas such as the school curriculum and Higher Education.
