Steve has spent a lifetime in education, initially working in schools and FE before turning to writing professional development materials and running training events.
Subsequently he spent many years as Head of Policy at Pearson where he ran a national education policy service offering weekly and monthly updates for audiences around the UK and beyond.
More recently he has begun working freelance to provide a new weekly education policy briefing service known as Education Eye for the not for profit social enterprise, EdCentral.
He is also a member of the Leaders’ Institute and a Reader for the Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for FE and HE.
