Sarah Waite is the founder and Chief Executive of Get Further, an award-winning not-for-profit that supports students facing challenges in further education to improve skills and gain key gateway qualifications.
She began her career teaching maths in Leeds and has extensive experience across the education policy landscape, working as a Political Advisor to the Shadow Education Secretary, Head of Policy at the Social Mobility Commission and on devolution of adult education to the Mayor of London.
Sarah is a Shackleton Leader and, in 2017, was shortlisted for the inaugural Virago/New Statesman Women’s Prize for Politics and Economics.
